Hello Watchers,

After a little bit of a self imposed hiatus and rethinking. I decided to put more of an effort to cultivate an audience and fav/comment on works on Deviantart. If you did read my previous journals you will know what I said. But if not then let me refresh you the second last journal entry I had done a big cull of my works from the gallery on here and I was wreslting with the idea of leaving DA because of offering doubles of my works on two websites and lack of feedback part of it was no sense of community I . The other journal entry was that I had finally gotten a digital camera and leaving film behind for a few years.

Last night I returned here missing a sense of being in a community which i was expecting but no recieveing much. So over the past few months that I have now been using my DSLR much more that my film counterpart. Logically because i'm no longer restricted by only 36 exposures. Especially since a couple of  months ago I have become an uncle again to a beautiful  niece Elizabeth and I had a chance to shoot falling snow for the first time in rural victoria. Events that I would have been very cautious of how shots to take. So I now have the means to offer both sites to have exclusive content for people who follow me.

Hello everyone,

I have just did a large cull of my work in an effort to control the supply of my photography. I am a member of a another site for my photography and wanted that to be the place to buy. I must admit I have come here less and less with the rise of other social sites such as Instagram giving artists a faster and more streamlined approach to making and sharing art. Over the years it seems that this and other other sites give back as much as you give. Especially with your connection to artistic online communities.

Hello there,

Its been too long that i have not posted a journal about my latest creative adventures. So just bare with my rant so I can get it off my chest.

My latest images are from the Melbourne Zombie Shuffle that happened on Halloween Eve. It was great fun to see the different designs and make up effects while it was my 2nd time I have been there. Its an event growing every year with more zombies and photographers. Here I felt the most out of place being the one shooting on film and with about 15 shots on my current film load and forgot to buy an extra roll. More then ever I wanted to be shooting on digital.

Being on my 2nd film camera body and annoyed with the camera's 3 AF points which I think they are. The main reason for most shots being rejected and costing development  money is that they have been out of focus either on my part with MF or  the AF points.  So the research has been finalised and weighing up my options on how to cope with the extra space on my current old PC is the next step. Mainly low space and lack of good ram.

So a PC upgrade vs a new camera is the latest battle going in my head. I do think I could work with my old system and a new camera. A new system and Photoshop upgrade requires a higher budget and more patience. Both I feel would have great payoffs and regrets. The biggest goal is to improve my photography and marketing to a bigger audience. I stil lenjoy photography and exploring identity and the modern world right now through a len of nostalgia. So thanks for liking my work and read through this.
For now I currently have a Rollei Reto 100 ISO Black & White roll of film in my camera and will keep you up to date when I have finished the roll and when to expect new images.

Greetings everyone,

I thought it would be good to just take the time since my last journal to say hi and welcome new people to watch me. Thanks to the people who have commented on my work it helps.

Recently i have been joining my dad in drivbing up the country Victoria around Trentham and Daylesford taking my camera and trying out more landscape photography. So expect those processed and up on here to have a gaze at. Also I finally finished my underwater disposable camera  taking it out whenever I had the chance to dunk it or hover the little thing over water. I have been holding on to this for a while. So I'll let you know how those turn out.
